Lady Elizabeth
ENGLISH SPARKLING ROSÉ
‘Lady Elizabeth’ was our initial label, so named in recognition of the daughter of the Marquess of Northampton who established the estate in West Sussex. As with all our output, this is a single vintage release where all of the wine is from the given year and the time on lees is carefully monitored in order to best display the nuances of the fruit.
Our rosé is 100% Pinot Noir and is disgorged after 60 months on its lees. This enables us to showcase both the exuberance of the pinot’s fruit and demonstrate some wonderous autolytic characteristics. We strive to produce a sublimely balanced dry sparkling wine with intense red fruit up front, a harmonious balance of acidity and a gentle soft mousse.
“Coolhurst is – in my humble opinion – currently the best sparkling rosé producer in the whole of England” @THECORINNEOCONNOR
The Miller’s Tale
ENGLISH SPARKLING BLANC DE NOIR
Our Blanc de Noirs is, unusually, 100% Pinot Meunier and is disgorged after 60 months on its lees, and a further 12 months on cork which allows for and encourages subtle Maillard reaction. The Miller’s Tale is our first white wine, and displays great fruit in both opening and length all intensified by the extended lees aging and carried by our signature gentle soft mousse.
It won a Gold Medal and was elected into the WineGB Golden50 wine list amongst only 15 sparkling wines.
“Aromas of delicate fruit and a hint of fennel leaf and spice. Palate starts on a sweet fruit note with subtle oxidative definition. Tangy with plenty of delicate fruit on a long finish.” WINE GB JUDGES PANEL
Demi Sec
ENGLISH SPARKLING ROSÉ
Coolhurst proudly presents our limited edition 2017 Demi-Sec. This wine is verging on the unique being a traditional method vintage rosé demi-sec; we believe it to be the only one in the UK and we know of very few, if any in production, worldwide!
This lightly coloured English Sparkling Wine is 100% Pinot Noir and has been given an extended time on its lees. The fruit has plenty to say for itself, but the additional dosage takes it to a different place and adds a natural balanced fruit sweetness whilst maintaining proper tension and length.
“A wine to take you through the finest picnic you can muster, from the coronation chicken sandwiches to the strawberries and cream.” @SIX_ATMOSPHERES
Falcon Gin
THE GIN DRINKER’S GIN
Not a lot to add. Citrus and juniper, clean and pure. Made with distillates from our grapes.
“I had grown tired of gin somewhat, but this really hits the mark” JOHN MOBBS
“I’m gonna go as far as to say it’s the best gin I have ever tasted” CUSTOMER REVIEW

Welcome to Coolhurst Côtes de Provence
Coolhurst Côtes de Provence
ROSÉ WINE
With several years spent living on the doorstep of the Verdon, and having a cousin in the French wine trade, Provencal wine has long been held in great affection by the owners of Coolhurst.
For nearly twenty-five years we have held an annual ‘rosé taste-off’ where each guest would bring a wine for friendly amateur competition and the winner would be the summer party wine of choice for that year. Ultimately, we realised that could always win this challenge by producing our own Provence Rosé blended to the point of suiting all of the regular guests’ palates!
Thus, Coolhurst Cotes de Provence was born; which we now make in Brignoles in the Hautes Pays region. It’s certainly a crowd pleaser.
